Clinical Notes
Bazett overestimates QTc at high HR and underestimates at low HR. Fridericia and Framingham are more accurate across a wider range of heart rates and are preferred by current guidelines. Hodges uses a linear correction. A QTc >500 ms is associated with significantly increased risk of torsades de pointes.
